DayZ vs Minecraft
Minecraft has 1.8x more players than DayZ right now.
VERDICT
DayZ has 20,057 concurrent players right now. Minecraft has 36,774 Twitch viewers. This is not an apples-to-apples comparison. One side reports live Steam concurrent players; the other has no public concurrent API, so the value shown is Twitch viewers as the closest popularity proxy. Minecraft is the more active title right now. Both games still have living audiences; the gap reflects today's momentum, not the long-term picture.
